Carolyn Dann, Municipal Assistance Coordinator for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be the guest speaker at the Monthly Meeting of the Chelmsford Recycling Committee Thursday, Dec. 3, 7 p.m. in the Town Hall. The public is invited to attend and ask questions.
Ms. Dann is one of eight Municipal Assistance Coordinators in The Commonwealth and she covers the town of Chelmsford as well as other communities. At the December meeting Ms. Dann is scheduled to speak on the topic of trends in community recycling -- what effective programs other towns and cities in the Commonwealth are initiating to increase recycling as a percentage of their municipal waste.
