The Town of Chelmsford is in the process of applying for a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Action Grant to improve drainage in the Sandra Drive, Donna Road, Temi Road, Janet Road Neighborhood. The Russell Millpond tributary floods during large events or when the downstream culverts experience blockages. The proposed project would evaluate the tributary stream and design stream bank restoration, identify methods for stream maintenance, and increase flood storage through nature-based solutions. In order to enhance our application, we are seeking input from residents in the area.
