For our Town to be fully represented at Town Meeting, each precinct must have a total of 15 elected Town Meeting Representatives. Every year, five slots need to be filled. Right now, with only this week to go to pull nomination papers, there are still 4 seats open in Precincts 1, 5 & 6. Please don't let the rest of the Town decide for your neighborhoods! Step up and pull papers! Call 978-250-5205 and we will walk you through the process. Thank you!
Nomination papers are available in the Town Clerk's Office beginning the first week in January for all elected town offices. The annual town election is held on the first Tuesday in April.
- Town-wide candidates need to obtain 50 certified signatures.
- Town meeting reps need to obtain 25 signatures from their precinct.
- We advise all candidates to obtain additional signatures. All signatures are returned the Town Clerk's Office for certification.
