NOTICE OF ADVANCED REMOVAL OF EARLY VOTED BALLOTS FROM ENVELOPES AND ADVANCED DEPOSITING OF EARLY VOTED BALLOTS

Monday, August 29, 2022

In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 54 section 25B as amended by Section 10 of Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2022, we will begin preprocessing early voted ballots on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 8:30 AM in room 205 at the Town Office, 50 Billerica Road, Chelmsford, MA. 

 

Preprocessing will continue during scheduled Early Voting hours & beyond as follows:

  • Monday, August 29                       8:30 AM
  • Tuesday, August 30                       8:30 AM
  • Wednesday, August 31                8:30 AM
  • Thursday, September 1                8:30 AM
  • Friday, September 2                      8:30 AM
  • Sunday, September 4                    9:00 AM

 

A full record of advance removal and advance depositing will be kept for each session. In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 54 section 25B as amended by Section 10 of Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2022, no results shall be determined or announced until after the time the polls close on September 6th.  At that time, the results from the advance processed ballots will be added to the election day results and posted in a public place.
