Recycling Committee

Recycling Committee's Functions

The Recycling Committee consists of nine members appointed by the town manager whose purpose it is to increase participation in the current recycling program, increase public awareness of recycling and related issues, and to encourage the use of products with recycling content. They also work to increase the materials that can be recycled, reduce the total amount of solid waste disposed of by the town and the residents, improve household hazardous waste programs, and improve access to recycling for residents of multi-family housing.
