Any business that is not a corporation, doing business in the Town either in a business zone or as a home occupation is required by law to file a Doing Business As (DBA) certificate with the Town Clerk's Office.
This is a two sided form which first must be approved by the Building Inspector before it can be filed with the Town Clerk. The owner listed must have his/her signature notarized before filing the certificate. The certificate is renewable every four years. The fee for filing the certificate is $25.00
