  • 10:00 AM Storytimes at the Libraries Friday morning 

    The Children’s Department will hold special Apple FallFest storytimes for ages 0-6 at both libraries: at the Main Library at 10:00 a.m. and at MacKay Library at 10:30. Celebrate fall with stories, crafts and apples! FallFest schedules will be handed out at these storytimes.

    Friday Night Bites:  

    Gather your friends and neighbors for a snack, sip & stroll through our favorite, downtown restaurants. Meet at Nobo's at 8:30, then to Andiamo's, Fishbones and end the evening at Brickhouse! REGISTER HERE to attend and to be eligible for special offerings by our restaurant partners.

While you’re hanging out in the Center at FallFest and out capturing Pokemon,

“Stop in to the Library’s REcharging Station - REcharge, REhydrate, REfresh, RElax and READ too!” The Library’s 

Teen Department will be issuing a Pokemon Go! Challenge. Come into the library and pick up your challenge sheet. Do all eight items and get a Pokemon button!

    The Garrison House Colonial Craft Day - 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
    Our most popular event of the summer. An event for the whole family.  Join us for demonstrations of colonial crafts including blacksmithing, cider pressing, chair caning, soap making, candle dipping, butter churning, hearth cooking, colonial music, the Chelmsford Minutemen, and more.  Admission is free.
